Platform Emergency Stop Button

Overview

General

Platform Emergency Stop Button is a kind of safety device which protects passenger's life from the various accidents occurred at the track beside the platform of the stations. In case of emergency situation such as passenger's falling on the track, fire, terrorism, toxic gas distributing, the first discoverer pushes the emergency stop button installed on the platform to notify the station master and the station personnel and to prevent the train from entering into the platform and the accident from expanding at the beginning stage.

Major Functions

Emergency Stop Button

It is installed at the platform and the first discoverer pushes it.

Emergency Stop Reset

It is installed at the platform and station personnel reset it.

Supervision Panel

It is installed in the station office and station personnel supervises and controls it.

Emergency Control Panel

It is installed in the equipment room and controls Emergency Stop Button system.

Emergency Stop Warning Light

It is installed at the platform and flickers when Emergency Stop Button is pushed.

Automatic Train Stop Beacon

It is installed on the track and actuates when Emergency Stop Button is pushed to prevent trains from entering into the platform.
